• Choose a firm and level ground for the grill and keep a distance of at least 1,5 m to inflamable objects.
• Use only common barbeque-starters to light the charcoal.
• First use the grill without gridiron and without any meat for at least 30 minutes.
• Keep the fresh-air-bolt fully open only for starting the fire. Then reduce the flow of fresh air to avoid overheating.
• As soon as the charcoal is fully glowing with a “white“ coat you could you could fit in the gridiron and put on the meat.
• The handles of the gridiron are insulated, stay cool and can be touched without gloves. Remove the gridiron as soon as it is empty to avoid the burning-in of morsels.
• Dont extinguish the glow with water. This could damage the grill.
• When the grill is cold again remove the ashes an clean thouroughly with a common stove-cleaner. Never use a stell-wire-brush for cleaning the grill. For cleaning the gridiron we recommend the Thüros Grill-Scraper S 80208.
• Hint: high-quality steel turns colours when getting very hot. This is not a blemish but a sign of best quality!
